Scott Bloom, Filmmaker
Scott has worked as a freelance editor in Southern California on hundreds of Feature Documentaries, Sitcoms, Film Trailers and Reality Television episodes. In 2005, he left the edit suite and stepped behind the camera as Producer and Director of the award winning documentaries, “Original Pride: The Satyrs Motorcycle Club”, “Call Me Troy” and “Out for the Long Run”. “Southern Knights”, Scott’s first narrative feature film,is a very personal story over 20 years in the making.
Clay Westervelt, Imaginaut Entertainment / Co- Producer, Director of Photography
During graduate school at USC, Clay received both the Bush and Kodak Awards for Excellence in Cinematography, earning an ASC apprenticeship. Clay has shot pilots for every major network, establishing the look of such series as Life of Luxury with Robin Leach (ABC), Gene Simmons: Family Jewels (A&E), Rattlesnake Republic (Animal Planet), and Junk Gypsies (HGTV). In 2003, he formed Imaginaut Entertainment, producing and directing the award-winning series Storyline Online, featuring such talents as Elijah Wood, Betty White, James Earl Jones, and Al Gore. Through Imaginaut, Clay directed the award-winning documentary Popatopolis and Mr. Twister, a documentary short about an autistic young man, produced by Academy Award-winner Mark Harris.
Tannis Vallely, Casting Director
Tannis was pretty much born in a trunk to actor/director/writer parents. She grew up in NYC working as a child actress in theatre, tv and film then moved to Los Angeles where she became a child star on the successful ABC sitcom Head of the Class. After graduating from Stanford University, Tannis shifted her focus from acting to behind the scenes. She learned the art of casting from a master – Debra Zane. As an associate CD, Tannis collaborated with some of the most talented directors in the world – Spielberg, Soderberg, Bill Condon, Sam Mendes and Ridley Scott. As a Casting Director, she cast NBC’s 1600 Penn with Debra Zane and Shawn Ku’s Indie success, Beautiful Boy, with Ania O’Hare. Beautiful Boy went on to win the International Critics’ Award at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival. Upcoming features include the Indie thrillers, Unfriend, and Esc.
Larry Diamond, Co-Producer, Web Design
Larry Diamond began his film career in Educational Films later moving into the communications field where he held executive titles in sales, support and web marketing. Larry is committed to ensuring that the films produced by Tragoidia Moving Pictures and Debby Street Films utilize all available digital marketing avenues to generate interest, sales and distribution. Larry also ensures that Tragoidia Moving Pictures and Debby Street Films productions receive their rightful spot in history and are accessible to learning institutions worldwide.
With a professional career starting at the age of fifteen years old winning a “Battle of the Bands” contest for KNAC Radio with his band “Eulogy,” co-formed with Rusty Anderson (currently Paul McCartney’s lead guitarist, and studio musician extraordinaire.) To Princes label Paisley Park with Janet Jackson’s producers Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam, songs in major Hollywood movies, national television commercials, jingles and Radio spots. Zallen currently has music featured on over 50 TV shows. In 2007, Zallen wrote and produced music for Tragoidia Motion Picture’s award winning documentary, “Call Me Troy”. Zallen is a self taught multi-instrumentalist and composer with quite a colorful musical past. . and even more exciting Future!
Perhaps Tony Visconti ( Producer of David Bowie, Morrissey, T-Rex, Moody Blues ) sums it up best. “Zallen’s music is awesome in scope, covers a lot of ground and different styles, with an emerging style of his own and has obviously paid much attention to the guitar heroes of our time as well as the best songwriters.
